This 100% silk beautiful wedding dress was purchased at a small bridal boutique, called Maria Romia, in the heart of Philadelphia. This charming boutique has since closed, making this dress even more of a gem. I purchased the dress, in 2009, a year prior to my wedding, yet this dress was never worn.
My favorite aspect of this dress is the waves of fabric gliding to the floor and the feminine buttons on the back zipper. The pearled veil is included and will compliment the elegance of this extraordinary gown.
The dress is an Angel Sanchez design. His dresses are sold at high-end bridal salons including Kleinfeld’s in NYC. Here is some more information about this esteemed designer from the Kleinfeld’s website: "Widely recognized for his evening gowns, international beauty pageants and particularly for his wedding gowns, Angel Sanchez has created an international, prestigious brand. His well-known architectural style, coupled with being contemporary and feminine, has made Sanchez one of the most important fashion designers of the new international generation. Along with other designers from the previous generation, like Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera, Sanchez represents the particular perspective of the international Latin-American style. After acquiring his architectural degree from Simon Bolivar University in 1984, Angel Sanchez began his fashion design career in Caracas, Venezuela in 1987. He quickly became known nationally as a prestigious designer."
